Nothing describes CRC more literally or metaphorically than a company that builds community. Our people take great pride in engaging and unifying stakeholders to create the best developments in which to live, work, shop, and play.

Ultimate success for us at the end of a project is to be considered by our neighbors as a member of their community. We strive in our developments to unite and partner with communities in unique ways, inviting differing points of view to participate in the design process and creating developments that meet the needs of a variety of stakeholders. Our projects have benefited from these longstanding relationships.

Fostering Community among Military Families through Thoughtful Design and Services
From the very onset of military housing privatization, we approached our 34,000-home military portfolio not as a homebuilder, but as a community builder. This meant creating developments unique to each installation based on overarching goals to foster camaraderie, boost morale, and restore pride of place for military members and families. We designed Pacific Beacon, for example, with connections in mind: a large, inviting lobby area encourages chance encounters and conversations over coffee, while the community’s three signature towers overlook a central outdoor courtyard of lush landscaping and meandering paths. A “Welcome Home” Initiative upon Sailors’ return from deployment keeps morale high via a multitude of community-building social events, excursions and outings, a customized concierge program, and on-site higher education courses.

What I like most about Pacific Beacon is that [it] will literally go out of its way to… make you comfortable. It is so awesome here—there’s never a dull moment.
